Before content became a buzzword, Chuck Schroeder and Trish Koehler founded Insight Marketing in 2004 as a content generation machine.

We help companies reach customers in industrial markets (manufacturing, fabrication, construction and many others) as well as business-to-consumer markets such as motorsports, farm/ranch and home hobby.

Chuck’s public relations career began in 1988 with one word: plastics. As an Account Executive at Burson-Marsteller’s Manhattan office, Chuck provided PR services for a major Saudi petrochemical firm (SABIC) and Owens-Corning’s composites division. He soon realized that he had an aptitude for industrial technology and complex subjects.

In 1991, Chuck left New York for Milwaukee to help build the PR department of Brady Marketing Group, subsequently founding Insight Marketing in 2004. He has visited hundreds of facilities and jobs sites and considers it an honor to tell the stories of these successful businesses and people.

Current clients include ESAB Welding and Cutting Products, IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show, Safway Group and National Rivet. Previous work includes that for ITW Welding (Miller, Hobart Brothers, Weldcraft, Smith, Bernard, Tregaskiss), ABB, Rockwell Automation, Mustang Manufacturing Company, Gehl Company, Buehler, Engis and Warner Electric.

Chuck is an avid outdoorsman and enthusiastic cook.

Trish Koehler

The secret to a long life is knowing when it’s time to go. After seven years as a stockbroker, Trish quit the business to pursue post-graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Following her passion to become a writer, Trish received her Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2003.

Since co-founding Insight Marketing in 2004, Trish has managed print magazine and eNewsletter production, as well as managed the financial and human resources aspects of the company. Today, she focuses on writing news releases and feature stories, as well as trade show social media content generation and video support.

Trish is a dedicated runner and animal lover.
